Hi, I’m Nurse Jess! I have been School Nurse at CCHS since 2018 and am honored to care for your Terriers.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2008 and am a Registered Nurse with experience in hospital, outpatient, and home settings providing care for individuals of all ages. Since joining the CCHS family, I earned a special designation for Individualized Education Program privileges from the Illinois State Board of Education in 2019 and became certified for vision and hearing screenings through the Illinois Department of Public Health in 2021. School Nursing is an incredible specialty that not only allows me to spend more quality time with my beautiful family, but presents unique professional challenges that keep me on my toes. It is so much more than band-aids and ice packs!
