Baseball tryouts are Today if anyone is interested.


Girl's Soccer - Tryouts are TODAY from 3:30pm to 5:30pm! Please, make sure you check the REMIND APP for where it will be located!


Terriers Live- The Improv Club will meet Thursday, February 29th @ 3:15 to 4:15pm in the Choir room.


TABLETOP GAMING CLUB will meet on Tuesday, February 27th @ 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. in H104 (J Taylor). 


Scrapbook club will meet Tuesday, February 27, 3:00 pm to 4:15 pm in J122.


CREATIVE WRITING CLUB: There will be a Creative Writing Club meeting after school today in Mrs. Godinez's room, C213.


FFA members today at 10:30 please report to the front of the attendance office for a picture. I have passes for your Terrier Time teacher's if needed. Please stop by D206 to pick a pass up


GSA: All GSA members attending the Rainbow Cafe today need to meet at the Walnut Street entrance after school. We will leave no later than 3:15.


GERMAN CLUB- Join German Club this Tuesday after school, from 3:10 until 4:30 PM, to learn about the graffiti and art on the Berlin wall. There will be snacks, a design space for painting, and the opportunity to design the German Program T-shirt for this school year! Sign up outside J109. All language students are invited! 


Math Team Practice today after school in Room D110 (Mr. Rosado's Class)

Terrier Eclipse t-shirt orders are due in the Principal's Office by Friday, March 1st.  Extra order forms can be picked up in the offices.


Only two days remain to sign up to donate blood at the spring blood drive on March 6th.  Check your CCHS email for the link.  The permission slips for those students wanting to donate who are 16 years old will be passed out later this week.


Extra Class of 2024 senior class t-shirts are available to purchase in both black and white in the Student Activities office for $15.


Attention Seniors- Cap and Gown picture day is Wednesday 2/28) in the foyer of the gym during civics classes.  The caps and gown will be provided.  This will be the only time Iconik Studios will be on campus to take cap and gown photos. 


Eat at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wednesday, February 28th to help support the CCHS Class of 2024.  Show the event flyer for the seniors to get credit for 20% of your purchase.  The money raised will go to help pay for end of the year senior events.

 

Terrier Spotlight- Denise Dyer- She has been an Instructional Aide and helps students in Terrier Tutoring. She has been with CCHS for 7 years. CCHS appreciates you, Denise Dyer!! Thank you for all you do for our school, students, and community!!

 

Congratulations-

Saturday's ICTM Division 3 Regional in Edwardsville. We placed first overall. We placed first in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Freshmen/Sophomore 2-person, Freshmen/Sophomore 8-person, Junior/Senior 2-person, Junior/Senior 8-person. We placed second in Geometry.

IHSA State Swim Meet Willem Huggins got 2nd in his 50 Free & 3rd in his 100 Free.


Top three finishers at the Terrier Talent Show Saturday. 1st place- Unit 51, 2nd place- Yoonseo Jung, and 3rd place- Olivia Scott.  A big thank you to all who participated in the show and who came out to the event

Punctuality Pays! Who will win today! All students this week with 0 tardies  were entered into the weekly drawing for a chance to win some awesome gift cards!   Winners will be announced at the end of 7th hour today! 

 

Today is the last day to submit an application to be a Freshmen Mentor for the 24-25 school year.  Check your CCHS email for the application link.  All applications must be submitted by 4pm today.  No late applications will be accepted.

 

Attention Terrier Talent Show Acts- Please be in the auditorium after school today for the mandatory rehearsal.  Failure to come to rehearsal will result in being dropped from the show.

 

The Terrier Talent Show is tomorrow night at 6pm in the CCHS auditorium. Come out to see our amazing 15 acts.  Tickets will be sold at the door for $10. 

 

A big thank you to all who participated and came out to the Volleybro game last night. $500 was raised for the Coach Kill Cancer Fund. Shout out to the Senior Goon Squad team on their victory over the juniors.

 

Girl’s Soccer Tryouts are Monday, February 26th from 3:30-5:30! Make sure they have a sports physical on with the athletic department. Along with indoor & outdoor shoes!

 

Baseball tryouts are going to be this Monday 2-26 if that could get in the announcements until then… if anyone is interested.
